Whether led by the class teacher, or studied independently, every project has a text. This provides the context and stimulus for a vast amount of related, investigative learning. Texts come in a variety of genres, including newspaper reports, letters, diary entries and dialogues. Each text also comes with an audiobook, complete with music, sound effects and professional voiceovers, providing a fully immersive experience.

Writing projects consist of between 10 – 25 highly detailed lessons that are fully resourced and show a clear, focused literacy skill progression. These all build up to a proposed final writing outcome
Within each unit, children will focus on a selection of age-related skills that they will master through a variety of activities.
Lessons are knowledge-rich; all linked to high-quality texts. Key concepts, literacy skills, questions and vocabulary are additionally fully mapped out in digestible chunks. They further include a number of teaching strategies to encourage a greater depth of literacy.

Within each unit, children will focus on a selection of age-related skills that they will master through a variety of activities.

Children are encouraged to bring the text to life, through a variety of digital literacy activities. This could be producing a PowerPoint presentation, filming via greenscreen or designing a poster using a graphics editor.
Emotional literacy activities are provided with children completing short, sharp writing activities. Through this, they learn to understand, handle and appropriately express their emotions, and to empathise with others.
Each project contains thematic music, with visuals, that further immerse children into the environment that they are focusing on. This allows children to make connections using their sensory skills which will significantly impact their writing.
Philosophy activities focus on conceptual answering and explorative learning. By thinking deeply about the social and moral themes, children gain a conceptual understanding which, in turn, helps them to produce meaningful writing.
